Ahh not old enough...my big brother turned me onto White Rabbit when I was 11 or 12...one of my very favorites my whole life.
Grace Slick was amazing in her vocal prime...sorta sad to talk about it all in the yesterday. Carrie "The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air. Much that once was is lost, for none now live who remember it." Galadriel - LOTR

At Winterland, Avalon, Fillmore, I saw Cream, and later Traffic, Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver, Janis, and of course, the Grateful Dead and so many, many more. For some reason I can't remember them all!LOL Missed the Beatles and Hendrix. Graduated High School in Palo Alto 1967. What a time and place!

I saw the Jefferson Airplane live. They were held together with spit and barbwire. Not very good. The experience did not compare with seeing the plume at midnight.

quote: Sorry - Glen! Got confused by an old post: quote: LOL! [] But as "Barbara" would sing: "Has the moon lost her memory. She is smiling alone. In the lamplight the withered leaves collect at my feet And the wind begins to moan. Memory - all alone in the moonlight. I can dream of the old days" The "rabbit" is on his own - loose in Puna - moving "dog chow"!
