It started raining down here. Real rain for at least 10-25 mins so far. What about up the hill?

It rained in my neighborhood almost all night. maybe my post was read by the rain god? I sure hope the people with water tanks get a break.

So far just enough to dampen the sidewalk here in Central HPP. We remain hopeful for more, though.

Our livestock tanks picked up about 6" last night and it is raining now in Pahoa. Very nice. I was about to have to haul water for the animals.
Assume the best and ask questions.

We had 1/2" in our rain gauge this morning about 8, it's been fairly steady since.

At dry Kaloli Pt in HPP our rain gauge was at 3/4" this AM!

We (on the water just North of downtown Hilo) got nothing. Just a wee bit of drizzle. My friend in Honomu go rain. I am glad to hear that some of you who needed it so badly got some!
