The county is finally fixing it and claim they will stay on it. No pavement, just going to grade, crown, gravel and keep it smooth for emergency egress, yeah... call it liability insurance.

That's the claim... they were even actually grading and spreading some gravel in Waa Waa itself today... first time I think in 20 years? Nothing since the down slopes were paved 20 years ago.
ALL OF IT? No... just from Honolulu Landing to the Papaya Farms, from paved road to paved road.

it would be nice if they at least dozer graded between Hawaiian beaches and hpp for emergency access
