Aloha, neighbors! Remodeling of our vacation home is going well, and we're hoping to put in the drywall in a week or so. We were going to do it ourselves, but decided it makes more sense to pay some professionals. Does anyone have any recommendations? We're in Leilani Estates.
Thank you,
Cindy

I actually dont! The guys we used to use are off island now.
Drywall is the one thing that can make or break a project! And it never looks as good again as the day the painter wipes his brushes off at the end of painting. But it is a necessary evil... on most projects.
SB stays out of dry walling because he is anal retentive about it and he loses money doing it because he dinks around fixing every shadow or mark. Drywall guys hate it when he is the project manager - he goes around with his pencil marking the bad spots!
We lived in one place where you wouldn't see the bad spots until we turned the overhead lights off and just had table lamps on. He would lay in bed and see them - I would say CLOSE YOUR EYES and stop looking!

Hi Cindy, my framer Joe Clark is going to do my drywall, so I assume he can quote you on your job. If he does drywall like he frames he will do a fantastic job. His number is 808-854-1744.
Good luck, Tony

My neighbor does drywall .He was in the drywall business in Sacramento and now lives here. He did our house and several others here in Seaview. We opted for a hand finish. He does good work. He has all the equipment, including, texture sprayer snd bazooka tape gun.
He is off island for a few day. I will get his number for you.
