Biodiesel plant coming to Keaau
#1
This looks promising. In Keaau a plant will be opening that projects production of 8,000 gallons a day.

Assume the best and ask questions.

"Locally produced fuel will contribute to Hawaii's energy security, reduce dependence on fossil fuels and help move toward energy independence, said David Zuckerman, a sustainability project manager for the U.S. Army."

Sounds kinda fishy to me. What about Hawaii's food security when 90% of our food is imported while land is used to grow crops for bio diesel to sustain the military gas guzzler.
