Unfortunately, the first question is not who is good and works with adults, but who is taking new patients? Typically, a new practice ...
My doctor is very good but I am 99% her practice is closed. (Hopman, Family Medicine Center). Don't be put off by the Family part; if you passed on her due to that it would be a mistake.

I'm emphasizing how tough it is here, because if you get someone good, appreciate what you accomplished, and hang on tight! Especially having HMSA.

Dr. Miller who is now in with Dr. Harmeling in Hilo is VERY good. I began going to him a few months ago and he's very thorough.
