I think it does. You get all the kama`aina discounts with it. To be 'local' though, you have to graduate from a Hawaii high school. [Smile]

Yeah, I've been a bit Cranky lately. Current project just keeps hitting snags. Finish nailer just took a cr*p. Things on Punaweb just seem a bit more argumentative than usual lately. More Tuberose please.

As I said in my post, the legal definition of kama'aina for discounts is the driver's license.
The deeper sense of the word refers to an attunement to place and culture that goes beyond.

Local is something else again.
