no more driving dogs?

Pog,

Nope - we bought it new in 1999 - wanted the smaller V8, but the one on the lot with everything else we wanted had a 5.9L, so that's what we got - what the hell, gas was only $1.20 a gallon right?

So, at this point we're saving the planet by not "upgrading" to something more fuel efficient. It takes a lot of CO2 emissions to turn 5000lbs of steel and plastic into a new truck.

Diesels cheat in the MPG game, their fuel has more energy per gallon. In an ideal world, it would be my fuel of choice (non-explosive at atmospheric pressure is a good thing!), but for now we're all gasoline based, down to the generator and the chain saw.
