Now there's a brilliant statement, MIKE. Not!

If you read previous silverpenny posts (and I suspect you even know her) you will know that she has posted about stolen lands many times, which means that she is occupying stolen lands herself, right? So, using her own logic, she should be first in line to return those stolen lands.

Another newbie, trying hard to stir things up. Go for it, dugger...

Mark, Once again, predictable. Don't make any assumptions about who I do or don't know. Even if I did know Silverpenny, which I don't, what difference would it make to you? I did not make the initial post but it is my right to agree with it without you accusing me of stirring things up. You do more stirring than I ever could.
It is not up to you to speak for or make assumptions for the Hawaiian people. In other words none of your business. People like you need to do a little historical research and realize that you live in an occupied country. Or perhaps you are comfortable rewriting history. 90% of the Hawaiian people voted against statehood. A reigning monarch of a sovereign nation was locked in her palace while her country was stolen by the "moral' US in the name of business.
Political conservatives are a minority here but happy to vocalize their ignorance.

Just a minor point perhaps but I have been curious about the deed to my property. The title search showed that my land was deeded by the King to one family before I bought it from them. My escrow was delayed until the original deed was located somewhere in `Iolani Palace. In my case this does not sound like stolen land unless the King stole it from someone. Maybe he did. I don't know.

So it appears to be a false premise that all the land in Hawaii not owned and occupied by people of Native Hawaiian ancestry is stolen land.

But I am curious on the ways that history can be interpreted.

Assume the best and ask questions.

And it is OK for you to speak for and make assumptions for the Hawaiian people? Then it isn't any of your business either, is it? Hypocrite.

I live on land that was acquired by a missionary family through marriage. Is that considered stolen land too?

By the time of the overthrow, much of Hawaii was in the hands of foreigners.

You say:
"90% of the Hawaiian people voted against statehood."
Wikipedia says:
"On June 27 of that year, a referendum asked residents of Hawaii to vote on the statehood bill. Hawaii voted 17 to 1 to accept."

mdd7000:"Are you denying that you are a cattle rancher?"
I own no, none, zero, zip, null (german for zero), nul (Russian for zero), Rei (Japanese), 0 (Chinese), zero (portuguese and italian) cow. Yes, I guess I'll have to deny that I'm a rancher! Humble pie please...

mdd7000 to dugger:"and I suspect you even know her"
Nope, don't know dugger although I like what he/she has to say. Humble pie please...

Better be careful, all those humble pies will go right to your thighs! Smile

Sorry Dugger, you’re new here so you don’t yet know those personalities who like to attack anything they don’t agree with, even if it means making false assumptions/accusations:

This repetitive pattern without remorse is exhibited by sociopaths who crave attention, even if it’s negative attention. They troll and insert themselves in every conversation, attacking everything they don’t know and don’t understand. They don’t care to find out truth and arrogance dictates that they rarely apologize. They know nothing about humility and don’t care. We just ignore them as much as possible. Smile

So, at the 2:00 minute mark, when you say "and other farmer's have been beaten up" do you mean to say you are a farmer only when others have made mention of your cows (other videos).

If so, how have you made farming viable without irrigating, fertilizer and pesticides since you made claims that the biofuel facility will be using massive amounts of the same?

Wait.
I so sorry. You LEASE your land to others, who are cattle ranchers...
What's the difference?

mdd7000, you really ought to give up while you're behind. More unfounded allegations and suppositions don't help your cause any, whatever that might be. I wasn't at the hearing, I don't have cows, I don't lease land, I'm also not dugger, Mauka, or Orchilandguy. Your thighs and nose are growing. Smile

Anyone who looks at the links, knows that you are the one who is behind. Multiple people, on multiple forums, have exposed you, numerous times. It is important that people here know the truth as well, and that it isn't swept away.

By the way, you are the Hawaii Island Queen of unfounded allegations and suppositions. Congrats.
