looking at a lot on plumeria in fern acres. What are the lot dimensions in fern acres and can anyone share their experiences there. We are familiar with the area used to live in orchidland but never spent much time in fern acres area.Does all of plumeria have cable access.

As far as I know the lots in Fern Acres are 2 acres. Not sure about the dimensions but probably 1x3.

Last I heard only the very first few lots on Plumeria has cable.

cable is in at least the first 2 or 3 miles up to pole 80 or so for sure

Flag lots is what I learned to call long thin lots.... buying 2 or 3 side by side works out well - lots of privacy - a flag lot allows one to build well away from road noise as well as offset (stagger) house pads for privacy

Flag lots are ones with a narrow strip of lot accommodates a driveway to a square or rectangular lot behind another lot that has road frontage. The driveway section is the pole and the back lot is the flag. Usually they are created when one lot is divided into two lots, one behind the other, but there is at least one subdivision up by Volcano that was laid out like that.

Carol is absolutely right, "flag lots" and "spaghetti lots" are two different things. Fern Forest Vacation Estates is a prime example of the flag lots, that's how the subdivision was established.
