Dove this morning with Wes.. It took a lot out of me but it was GREAT. The rock structure at Pohiki is reminiscent of the kelp beds of California Nooks and crannies, shelves and pinnacles. Probably one of the best dive sites I have found here in Hawaii.
Wes, thanks sooooo much for the Sherpa duties. Call me anytime!!!!

Entered at the boat ramp. I didn't have a compass so Wess kept us on track. Basically, to the left and out!

Daniel, are you on island now or in that "other" state? Give a shout when you want to dive.

Hi Pam,
Just wondering, did you guys stay 'left' all the way out, inside the surf line or go straight out, into deeper water, once around the 'corner' of the point so to speak.

Royall,
I am drying out right now, but will return Tuesday to tend the coffee and do a bit of diving with an old friend. You would be welcome to join us, however we will be diving "on the fly" with no prearrainged schedule. I am sure that we will be doing Milolii, Honounou, and perhaps Pohoiki and Liliiwi. Depends on conditions. Clear weather will bring work on coffee for at least a day; rain will send us diving. Coffee gets priority. Looks like high tides in the afternoon. Send your phone # so I can call you.

Sounds like a plan! I've been busy but at least let me know so if I'm in a lull, I join you.

Hey punaweb divers,
My brother is coming from Florida in October for a family reunion. He is an experienced diver, who dives regularly in the Keys, the Bahamas, and in the underwater freshwater caves in Northern Florida. I want to point him in the direction of some good shore diving while he is here, any suggestions? I am strictly a snorkeler so I don't know much about the options, how hard would it be for him to find a dive partner?
