Sounds perfect, but I don't know where any of those businesses are. I'm one who navigates by cross streets and mauka makai. I know it's right on Ponohawai but just need to know if it's before or after Garden Exchange and KTA (past Mamo St or not).

If you follow the link they have a map showing exactly where it is. Mamo St. is beyond it coming from the Puna side of Hilo.

Kathy, Take the highway into town. Turn on Ponahawi. Go up ot Kilauea. Make a right on Kilauea. It will be in the first block on your left hand side. In the same little shopping center as Subway

Cat, hopefully you will see this before heading in, they posted on that facebook link:

I have to say it is funny for me how directions are given in this town using fast food chains. Subway, Burger King, etc.. Because I don't ever stop at these chains, I pay no attention whatsoever to where they are. In fact, I block them out as best I can.

I do know the little lot with the Subway because I worked with a broker who had his office there.
[Smile] I remember parking was really tight. I don't spend much time in the old downtown because of the parking crunch (except for Garden Exchange). Hopefully we can stop by tomorrow.
