Our beloved dog was killed this morning about 10:am. A woman who looked to be in her early thirties was driving a late model silver or white Suv about 45 miles an hour on Government beach Rd in Wa'a Wa'a. The road is gravel. She swerved, for what reason I do not know and drove on the top area of our dirveway, hit our dog and kept going..I want this woman to realize what her reckless and callous behavior has cost us emotionally. I hope she knows about Karma.
Government Beach Road does not have a posted speed limit, it has many blind areas, and blind hills. Many residents have complained to the county about the safety conditions on this road. We have paid the price.

So sorry about the death of your beloved dog. The woman probably doesn't read Punaweb but those of us who do will be on the look out for speeding light colored SUVs on Old Gov't road. My sympathies for your loss.

Cwaters, so sorry about your beloved dog.
Any chance that the SUV was a Subaru? A light colored Subaru went flying by us on one of the blind hills on Gov't Beach Rd when we were driving out of Waa Waa this afternoon. We'll ask our neighbors and friends in Waa Waa if they've seen a speeding light colored SUV.

I really feel for you. To hit a beloved dog and not stop is heartless. I hope this person gets caught and karma bites her big time.
Our dogs are such a comfort and give so much to us. I really am sorry for your loss.

As a pet owner you are responsible for the safety of your beloved dog .
Why was your dog not on a leash or inside your yard ?
One last little point,I am a very good driver and once raced cars,I don't think I could drive 45 mph on that road and and swerve towards someones dog and live through it!!
