Here's my pizza report.
My wife and I just went there for lunch and had a slice of pepperoni, each. We thoroughly enjoyed them. The cheese mix was, for my taste, excellent, with mozzarella essence rising to the top of the flavor bin.
Dough was soft and flavorful.
Mike gave me an extra slice, free. Mahalo, brah! Very nice decor and atmosphere. Would be especially cool at night.
I'll definitely go back and will try their wings, next time.
I also enjoy Boogie Woogie Pizza and plan to support both establishments. We got a freakin restaurant town, boys. Lasso them pizzas!

Wanted to give it a try so I dropped off the wife and told her "you select". I then proceeded to drop off the trash at the dump (in Pahoa). Drove back with no stops and there was the wife ready to go. WOW fast I thought, hope it is as good as the speedy service.
Well, she ordered the special, spinich, garlic, basil, and something else (veggie style) hmmmm no peperoni I thought. sigh My mistake, told the wife to select hahahaha.
It was great! Tasted fantastic and since it was the special the 16 inch pizza was less than fifteen dollars. Only thing I will mention to them next time is can that good tasting crust be a little more crispy (like someone else mentioned).
So for my first visit, quality (tasted great) and service (very friendly and super fast) means I will be a repeat customer.

George is Greek from NY - fuhgeddaboudit! I used to work for him in Honomu when he made the most delicious bagels too. Real bagels, not the cr@p that Safeway sells in the deli.
He closed Honomu and opened Pahoa in addition to Hilo and it was just not the same so it did not seem to last long.

Yes, I've talked with him. His pizza is REALLY good! The calzones rock it too. I remember the Pahoa store, where he told me that the big problem there was not being able to be there much and that "profits" were dwindling. There were management problems but we loved the pizza!
