There have been big cases of domestic abuse tied to Ainaloa AND I know a young man who told me stuff that doesn't make the papers....
The comment I would add to this is having worked with DV on the east side, it cuts across all economic strata, across all subdivisions, and ethnic groups at almost the same rates.
Ainaloa is no higher or lower in DV rates than anywhere else.
What may make it appear to be higher is smaller lots with houses with no insulation or AC so open windows and no sound attenuation.

lol, I remember the white space comment because I take it to heart when I write, as I would like to be read, not because it stung! But your right, you didn't say my post was rambling - I said that it was.
All I'm sayin is you could have slightly retreated and admit how your statement could have easily been misunderstood. Then apologized for any unintended hurt you may have caused the residents of Ainoloa. Whether you felt that way or not, a defense argument was not necessary and appears to have done more damage than damage control.

i don't understand the difference between calling a post racist and calling the person making the post racist. Seems like the same thing to me, all things considered.
Hi oink, I'm wondering if someone is impersonating you to make comments on the new cartoons calling me a racist, bigot, anti-Hawaiian, white supremacist. It doesn't really sound like you, but people will think it is the same oink.
Those cartoons are now the #3 Google hit on my real name, without adding a place of residence. #1 if you add Hawai'i. Before this topic started, a search of my real name did not come up with accusations like this against my character. This is serious damage to my reputation -- not on Punaweb, but the entire web. It is going to be very difficult to fix it too.
Whatever anyone may opine of my posts on this topic, I think this sort of real damage to my real name is far far out of proportion to what was said.
I am hoping that is not really you who is over there clapping hands and approving and saying I should have been booted from Punaweb long ago and I'm a nut case, etc.. ("oink" commented on the last three, and I assumed the 3rd most recent one was you at the time, but now I see the new comments, I question that.)
Posting here is the only way I have of asking you and knowing that it is the real oink replying (if you do).

Looks like we are losing the topic here. Let's get back to the subject of Moving to Ainaloa.

I think it's been a good year or more since I've posted to Lack's site, only once at that, as I recall, and I think even you would have approved of the post.
Now you've made me post in this thread which I said I was giving you last word on. Leave me out or I'll not be able to resist coming back.

oink, I truly don't care about last words. What matters to me is trying to communicate. Thank you for letting me know that it is not you. It is clear to me now who is posting as oink.
My feelings about you in this topic were inevitably influenced by "your" posts over there dating back to the beginning of June. I did not expect there to be a faux oink. I will adjust my opinion, knowing now that you didn't state I was crazy and need a shrink. That is good to know.
Feel free to post more if you like, as you please. Last word is unimportant to me.
Aloha.

Ainaloa's OK. Like any subdivision, it depends on neighbors getting along and not being drawn into endless and meaningless personal conflicts.

I too cruised Ainaloa. It looked ok to me. I went for HPP but I have no soil there, just lots of those pretty wild orchids. I don't know if Ainaloa has any soil or not but that would be a consideration. I also really like the Volcano area. I have a lot up there too but it's not right in Volcano. It's in Ohia Estates but at least it's walking distance to Volcano, although it might be a bit far after the bar closes.
