Didn't hear a thing here but RIMPAC started and Oahu ops area is overflowing plus the Admiralty has been pleasured to add the volcano Army field to the op area. RIMPAC is going to be for the whole month of July.
Seems like the volcano helicopter tours have tapered off quite a bit. The other times there is a lot of helicopter noise is the coast guard searching for someboy, and all too often, it is another tourist trying out the Puna "beaches".
