Moving To Pahoa
#21
You are right!!! Its been a lil hellish for me here in Tacoma Wa. The days have been filled with stress trying to juggle work and moving! I am not sleeping well and keep dreaming of my new life! I just got my last kid out the door and moved in with a friend until I fly out! I'm mixed with emotions! I ask myself if I am doing the right thing! I hope I am. I'm only taking 4 bags with me, so this is really starting fresh! I have had some crazy ideas but this is by far my craziest! lol! Single, Free and ready for adventure! Peace!

I had a boss tell me once that life doesn't really start until 40. I tend to agree.

I showed up here with a duffle bag, back pack and having done research online. Didn't know anyone or have a place to stay lined up. And I was 6 months past 40 Smile. I've found it's all about attitude on if you'll be a fit or not.

We lived in the Seattle area for almost 30 years before moving here two and a half years ago.
It's still an adventure.

You'll be here before you know it. Smile

Beautiful work. More than a little Marc Chagall in there, it looks to me.

Wonderful and welcome to Pahoa!

LOL! I love Marc Chagall! So yes you are very right! I also spent some time with Dali before he passed away I lived in a lil village not far from his home on the Costa Brava. I was only a child at the time. When he died I was very sad. My family and I went to his wake. He had a big impact on my wanting to be an artist!

I am gearing up to paint my lil heart out when I get to the Islands! So much to see, so much to do!! Aloha!! [Wink]
