Lamont Ranch Happenings
#1
As many of you know I have been having some serious medical issues. In two weeks I will be having brain surgery for Cancer of the Brain in Honolulu. The ranch will be handled by our caretaker, Michael, so if you have any trouble with following up on things we had planned know that they can be followed up on, whether it is eggs, lamb, hapu'u or anything else. /ranch security will be well maintained.

Call the ranch phone after the 26th of August 968-1479 and leave a CLEAR MESSAGE with yur name, phone number, that it is ranch business ad that you wat Michael to phone you back. Our teenager otherwise will... um... teenager-ize any message. Ugh... sad but true so be clear the call is for Michael.

Thanks for all the well wishes we have received. I don't know when I will return; it's all a little complicated at this point but I figure by mid September I will be back terrorizing Hilo.

Smile Pam Lamont.

I want to be the kind of woman that, when my feet
hit the floor each morning, the devil says

"Oh Crap, She's up!"

Already thank you to everyone. My life has been so "out there" on so many levels, though this is something weird to put on the net kind of, I figure you all deserve to be in the inner circle on it. Better than whispers and gossip and questions and such.

Look forward to seeing you as the year wears on and things move forward. We are VERY LUCKY to have Michael and Wendy Gillette here as our caretakers. They have been most supportive and we have never had anyone as honest, giving and productive. Feel free to call the house if you need to reach Michael and introduce yourself.

Smile Pam

Sure have received lots of nice notes, not only here but in my email as well. Punaweb is the village we have all built and I a most pleased to be part of this village. While I was making plans for this surgery I went to So Cal (where I a from) to see what my best options would be. A very wise friend pointed out that when I came t Hawaii I helped build this new village and have spent the lst 8 years or so doing so, taking care of others when I could, sharing, teaching.... and that it is now time for me to let my village care for me as well. All your warm words and thoughts confirm for me what a good job we have done together. Thank You everyone for being part of this new life. I am confident that things will go well and if needed, I know many of you will be here to help with the little things, physical and spiritual, that will not only srengthen us all but make my life better. THANK YOU all.
