Earth sounds like coqui frogs
#1
Maybe the coqui frogs are turning me into a stark, raving punatic and all I hear now is coqui frogs everywhere, even in space. Maybe the little buggers got on these probes. In space, no one can hear you scream, kind of like no one can hear you scream above the coqui frogs at night.

I suspected it all along. They've inculcated themselves into my brain to the point that I now feel disturbed when I don't hear the little buggers at night.

I'm with you there Jerry. On those colder night in the winter, I find my self waking up wondering what's wrong.... only to realize the Coquis got too cold to chirp!! Thank god I don't have that may on 13th.... just the start of the drier part of the park I guess. That and I do try to keep the jungle cut back from the house....

@Pahoated,maybe it's really "on the mainland no one can really hear you scream". When I am on island the coqui stop my "monkey brain" and my mind is clear.

I don't hear 'em until I read a thread like this. I can't sleep when it's too cold for them to chirp.

Ha, had to laugh at the similarity! Thanks, Pahoated.[Smile]
