There is no market on this island for this mmj idea - sorry.

It comes down to supply and demand. There are relatively few people here and everyone has the space to grow if they want to, whereas Oahu is the opposite - there is a lot of people there and relatively few have the space to grow on Oahu.

That said do what you want, but don't advertise you're growing pakalolo or you're gonna get ripped off or killed.

Cheers

Great dream, MMJ. I don't know much about it, but your reasonings are sound. Follow your dreams.

So your plan is to come to Puna without a job and have someone teach you how to grow dope?

'Beats working - big grin - didnt work out well for the last group that tried however. Nor Cal - Colorado and a few other areas on the mainland may be more hospitable to any commercialization

There is a university in Oakland called 'oaksterdam' they literally offer courses in all facets and aspects of Medical growing, from propagation to legal transportation to dispensaries - but of course there are no dispensaries in Hawaii

And be sure to find an area that is off of the flight path of any helicopters (if there is such a place on this island)... or all of your work could go poof!

If it was legal Philip Morris would have thousands of acres of a roundup ready patented gmo strain

thanks for the replies. i plan on exporting, as i am a pilot with access to a cessna. and besides the initial inquiries like this one, will be very hush hush, believe me. im not going to have a big op, just something i can manage with 2 or 3 people tops.

why would i need a job when growing IS a job... i have some savings.

again, thanks to those with links/support
