Woman's body found off Kalapana
#41
Hiding and getting lost is easy in Puna. Heck, I got lost walking the lot next door to our house!

It seems to be the new normal. Hawaii has one of the lowest murder rates in the country - it was something like 3x as high in the 70's - but around 3/4 of them seem to occur in Puna and Hilo, with under 10% of the state's population.

The stats are based on the body's they have found, but with all the pukas and the deep blue sea.

They should put a police substation at pohiki to have some coverage down that way

add an ambulance, right at the county park there's already bathrooms and a parking lot all you need is a carport and a portable office

This place seems to have flurries of derangement with long periods of calm. Now, it looks like there is an arsonist around the HPP and Orchidland area.

Police say arsonist started Puna house fire

This is the first one they are saying is arson but there have been about 5 or 6 fires in the same general area in the past couple of months, sounding similar, usually unoccupied or abandoned properties, although one had two occupants.

That was Orchidland, not HPP. Maybe you should tell the police about your deductions concerning the other incidents.

Some one knows something.... and even like Dana Ireland's case, eventually someone talked.

My prayers for both these kids families.
