I found nothing on the news. Shouldn't here have been issued a Abducted Child Alert.
AMBER ALERT. The child was in immediate danger.
WTF IS MISSING HERE?
"If" that child is still alive, there should be an Island wide search.

I can't even believe this level of sewage-level scum activity. A new Puna standard. No punishment is too harsh for these @$$holes. As for stopping it in the moment... I'd like to think I'd be there intervening, but I wasn't there (though I was actually in the Center yesterday, but apparently missed this f#*&$d up event). Was anyone (at least) yelling at the top of their frickin' lungs?!
I never thought I'd hear myself say (type) it, but I really yearn for an 'actual' police presence in my life/area (as opposed to what passes for uniform-wearing wastes of tax payer money, not to mention skin, around here). The new sociopathic lows that seem to keep surfacing lately are absolutely disgusting, offensive, and frightening. With no help from the people we pay to help.

Sue I have been looking since yesterday afternoon, I cannot find any other information about it. Thats why I posted it here. That is the plate number that my friend gave me so the cops should have no trouble following up with police work. Silver Toyota Tacoma hhu619

Different situation, but I actually witnessed someone getting hit by a truck in the breakdown lane of 130 in front of Keaau HS. By the time the cops got there, everyone involved was gone. I never did find out what happened, but a lot of this domestic stuff is kept quiet. Culture of silence.

I don't want to rain on anyone's outrage parade, but is this just a wild story told by one person to afwjam or is it a real, documentable event? I've looked at other blogs online, in print, and on the TV websites and found nothing. If it happened, it certainly rates all the vitriol. But did it happan? Seems like it would get mentioned somewhere besides Punaweb.

Hopefully if someone steps in to help a defenseless person (or infant) in a situation like this, they can be of assistance. There are a few things to keep in mind, however:
1) When you intervene between family members or close friends, you are the stranger. Often even if they have been quarreling amongst themselves, they will view you as the enemy, even as you try to help. They may quickly put aside their differences and all turn on you.
2) If you pick up the child, be sure you can make a clean getaway, or the person who just threw the baby may chase you, try and grab it away, and the baby could be further injured.
3) Witnesses. So you are not blamed for the baby's injuries.
4) Guns. Have you seen how many hostage situations have ended with the police shooting the hostage recently? And then there is crossfire and stray bullets in a shopping center parking lot.

Why doesn't someone call the cops and ask?
If anyone is at Keaau today, ask someone who works there.

UMMM...I think everyone here knows my opinion of the local police....
BUT
Posting the # & vehicle based SOLELY on second hand info...without ANYONE else reporting this seems like a way of convicting someone based SOLELY on hearsay...would hate it if an innocent person/vehicle is abused based on a post by an anonymous poster here....
so
BEFORE anyone takes any actions against anyone...
IF IT DID HAPPEN... (no one else reporting it from that very crowed market seems.....like a very odd thing....)
PLEASE...Only report the location of the vehicle...doing anything against it/its' owner would not be warranted based on the hearsay we have so far...
