What's up with Pookie's?

Aloha, Puna neighbors! We just returned after spending eight months in Arizona, and were looking forward to breakfast at Pookie's-----it's gone! Did they move again? We love barbeque, but not first thing in the morning. Where can we go now, for good pastries and muffins?

I believe that the same people are now operating out of the old KFC building in the mornings. The location is shared with another restaurant in the afternoons which also has very good food.

Pookies has moved to the markets - Makuu on sunday and I saw them tonight at Uncle Roberts. The folks at the old KFC are different and soo ono. Gotta try the Hawaiian nachos!
