The U.S. Department of the Interior’s Office of Acquisition and Property Management oversees the overall implementation of department’s procurement and grant programs. This includes ensuring these programs perform in accordance with current applicable laws and regulations. Each of our bureaus, as well as other major organizations within Interior, has its own procurement office. These offices contract with the private sector for a variety of supplies, equipment and services. Services our procurement offices have acquired by contract include training, architect-engineer services, advisory and assistance services, custodial services, guard services, operation and maintenance, telecommunications services and information-technology services, maintenance and support.
