Is Green Harvest going on???
#1
I live down in Kalapana and have been seeing so many extra choppers flying low all over the place. These are not the normal lava tour choppers. Was wondering what was going on?

Yeah, they were hovering over mid-bottom Maku'u for a few hours each day. One of the choppers had a black front body and a white rear body and tail. The way they were flying and circling in pairs is pretty much a green harvest trademark. Noisy, obnoxious and invasive on all of our privacy. Plus it really scares my dogs.

But hey, maybe it's for a good purpose, like prosecuting people for growing an herb before it becomes legal. Can't think of any sort of law enforcement the State might be able to refocus their energy on.

Just had a very large military copter out here at 7:40 p.m, Not sure what they were looking for in the dark?. Maybe Operation Suppresion has started on the people of Puna? Just in time for the holiday's and wanting to show there spirit even though they are not invited. My little boy's really do get excited to see these bird's at bedtime.

It was the film crew working on the reality TV show featuring "Cinderland"

Get used to it !!

Lower HPP is pretty far from Cinderland, so I doubt the helicopters flying the Green Harvest trademark patterns over HPP for several days are the Cinderland film crew. If it is they are sure wasting a lot of someone's money filming overhead footage of a subdivision that is completely unrelated to the topic of their show.

Mine was flying solo; more interesing, it was "yellow with black stripe", which pattern does not appear in my Green Harvest Field Guide.

They looped over my yard and took off towards Keaau, so I guess whatever I'm doing isn't that interesting.

It's actually "Operation Drumstick". They're looking for rooster ranches.
