Bedbugs a very big, you can easily see them... Bedbugs are usually a hotel issue and spread by tourist's clothing and luggage moving from place to place.. clean expensive hotels, dirty cheep hotels, dont matter ... they all get them ... its not a homeless/hitchhiking issue. Lice (ukus) may be though...

PS. Those round red splotches on your legs are mosquito bits (common malihini kine).. very common with newbies here in Hawaii, until their bodies gets used to the mosquitoes.

even hitchhikers have fear mongers now.. wow!

bedbugs gettin bad all over the islands. over in oahu, all the hotels have them. no way to get tid of them so the hotels just dump all the matresses and give em away to da homeless, then buy new matresses.

I have had to deal with these once in Austin and a family member had to deal with them in Las Vegas. IN this one instance the paranoia is warrented. I have not seen them on the BI, but I no longer get second hand stuff either. Once was enough.
