hwy 130

I see at 11am the traffic inbound to hilo on 130 is backed up past paradise and people turning around, accident or just road work?

Most likely road work. I've seen it backed up like it is now several times just do to the work and the fact that a lot of people see the large pieces of equipment at the edge of the road and are so intimidated by them they will creep at 20-25mph. Several times I've seen workers waving the people to get moving...

I just drove it now (HPP to Hilo). It's completely clear at the moment.

Tried driving home via 130. Just u turned to 11.This is the worst I've seen it. Traffic is backed up nearly to turnoff. Are there traffic apps/sites for Puna?

Just came home from Hilo via 130. I waited 45 minutes to get from Hwy. 11 to Keaau High. Turned off there and went up through Kurtistown and out through Ainaloa to Pahoa. I didn't see any traffic on 130 coming from Keaau direction. Does anyone know what happened this afternoon?
