Just another piece of BS. The NOAA photo that is the center of this bogus article is NOT radiation, it's a model that shows potential wave height and inundation from a 2011 tsunami.

Try to vet your sources a little better next time please. Spreading hysteria is not cool.

Damn, they got me. I thought everything on the internet was true! Sorry about that.

I'm sure there's nothing to worry about with the whole Fukushima thing.

" Within months of the accident, Ken Buesseler, a senior scientist at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), assembled a research cruise and science party of 17 people from eight institutions to sample the waters surrounding the nuclear plant. The scientists found elevated levels of the nuclear by-product cesium but they were below the threshold of concern for direct human exposure. The levels of cesium had diminished quickly off shore because cesium is soluble in seawater and was therefore diluted by the Pacific ocean currents. They also measured cesium and other radionuclides in plankton and fish and, in subsequent cruises, collected sediments from the seafloor near the plant. To this date, important fisheries off Fukushima remain closed due to levels of cesium that are above Japanese limits for seafood."

No worries ... just don't buy fish from Japan quite yet..

More than 5 years since the tsunami. Where's the radiation? Fear mongers lose again.

fwiw... the Japs are the smartest people in the World, they also live the longest on average, nearly ninety years old... they still live at ground zero, no ones dying, not ten miles away, and not 6 thousand miles away in US.

Wow bananahead that surprised me from you. Shame shame. Japs is a derogatory term used by ignorant bigots in the 1950s. FYI simply typing in the last few letters and calling them Japanese fixes everything and nobody is insulted. It's the same as calling a black person a n****r.
Funny Chas, I agree, with that comment: "I'm sure there's nothing to worry about with the whole Fukushima thing.
Wake up Paul and Kapohojo. It isn't fear mongering it's reality. A horrible radioactive disaster. You can tell yourself that there is no issue there if that makes you feel better and sleep better at night. Then there's real life.

fwiw... the J--s are the smartest people in the World,

V-J Day has come and gone. Since MacArthur marched into Tokyo I believe the preferred nomenclature (with the exception of black and white movies on TCM) is now "Japanese."

They may be a close second but I would say the Jews are the smartest and live the longest. That's probably the real reason why the Nazis wanted to get rid of them. They couldn't be the "master race" with the Jews around.
