UFO In Kapoho?
#1
Um, O.K., I don't usually buy into his stuff, but tonight about 7:30, a light appeared in the sky coming from Cape Kumakahi at a high rate of speed. It was larger than Venus. When it reached a trajectory that I'd vaguely call between Pohoiki and Kalapana, it disappeared. Has anyone else in Puna seen this?

There is a lot of military weaponry that might be getting "calibrated" nothing serious but with all the drama with Russia it never hurts to have small displays of force because trust me. They are watching

Nice theories, but it was the International Space Station.

Thanks, Petard. I actually wondered about the ISS but didn't think the description was right so didn't bother looking at where the ISS was. The timing is certainly right for the ISS. Only unknown is leilaniguy's location when the light was seen and that'll narrow it down, but it certainly looks as though it was heading west to east which would be consistent with the ISS.

I have made numerous posts here (PT), ABOUT the very present and real UFO sightings that I have been reporting here for several years.
For reference you can look at:

And many other posts relating to this - (many sighting of no ID helicopters and other strange objects & occurrences ).
Their are people here who would prefer that you think I am a kook and am too conspiracy oriented. I receive many derisive and sometimes outright hostile replies to my posts, when a simple ignoring of my posts by these folks would be more appropriate.
You can view all my videos at this link -

In the beginning I posted everything and that was a mistake on my part not realizing that many vids are obscure after having gone through vimeo file compression .
All that being said, their are some good ones that reveal covert spraying going on (clear but mostly distant shots of tube type ufo's and sprayers) in our skies for what I believe is a sinister purpose. My other post are an attempt to reveal to the reader all the other clues that lead me to my conclusions, not the least of which is that we are spiritual beings and are involved with other spiritual beings in a fight over truth vs lies , goodness over evil, true light over a dim darkness.

I post at (curezone.com) where you bring up all my posts going back almost 6 years, by searching on my user name (opihikaobob).

This light was heading Northeast to Southwest from my location in The Beachlots and I don't think the ISS suddenly "goes out". (It was a starry night with few clouds).

It is possible for the ISS to appear or disappear at some distance from the horizon.

The light on the ISS is reflected from the sun, so if the space station goes into the earth's shadow (an area of no sunlight) before it reaches the horizon, it fades and disappears. This also happens when it appears in the sky, sometimes it will be well above the horizon before it starts to shine.

The ISS passed over last night at 7:33. I was outside with the grandkids when it went over. I check the Spot the Station (link above from Petard) website periodically and when the kids are here and it's a clear night we go out and watch it. Last night it was from the West and went to the NE. The night before it did a similar but higher route and did indeed go dark suddenly as it went into the earths shadow.

It's one way to get the kids to put down the electronics for a while and think about something out of this world. They get real excited when they spot it. You can set your watch by it. Amazing.

You are very lucky if you saw the ISS. With the cloudy weather in the evening, it is only visible for a few minutes. This table seems to indicate it was the ISS a couple days ago, for about 5 minutes.

Looks like the next good sighting will be Saturday (tomorrow evening). It will come from the north west and head south east.
