Getting close to the time when our new house in Hawaiian Beaches was almost finished being built in 1989, and facing the reality of moving from our HILO condo at Bayshore Towers. It took awhile but we " Got Over It ", we still own the condo though.

My fireplace on snowy nights, but I'll take the trade-off. I don't miss the snow blower, icy windshields, or chain checks.

--Not being able to catch my favorite bands and musicals in world-class venues. I'm over it.
--Not being able to find what I want when I want it, esp. clothes, in stores. I'm over it.
--Gecko poo in the house. I'm over it.
--Sticky skin, makeup melting, damp floors/furniture/sheets. Uh, that one I'm not over and can't see ever being over.

CSGRAY, I will say that if you are ever in the Kona area-I know its a long drive, but -Go to Killer taco. SOOOO good. We bought 2 burritos and it fed our family of 6! pretty sure we spent $8 each plate but huge portions and very very tasty.
Its a colorful life!
