Is that what we are doing tearing down all the other candidates? I just celebrated them in another post as being wonderful people except Tiffany. Some of us are even planning to watch the election results with each other. That is how much we have grown to like one another. If this is a race all the other candidates are showing good sportsmanship except for the hick, Tiffany, who was raised in Wyoming, the state ranked 50th in morals and ethics.

Hard drinking, mean spirited and still smoking cigarettes. I can definitely call Tiffany immature and juvenile. DiscussTruth, you must be misremembering. It is Tiffany who was doing her best to be the worst in "tearing down all the candidates" except for her self. What kind of roast is that? All RJ was doing is bringing it to light. Although she has gotten some berating for it on the pw, RJ has gotten a lot more kudos and mahalos from the Puna community. People love it when you back down a bully!

On a related note; RJ kinda looks like the singer Pharrell. Do you think if she wore a large hat she would gain any credibility.

No comment on anyone's "looks". Can't tell a book by it's cover. In this case, RJ is quite intelligent, if one takes the time to talk to her.

I've shared RJ's bizarre meltdown at the District 5 forum as an entertaining example of Puna politics. Now I regret it. Giving any recognition to the buffoons, one-trick ponies, clowns, the insane and the sad, sweet but simple-minded (this covers about 3/4 of our candidates) only furthers the impression that that is all there is in Puna.

Please vote for a logical, grounded candidate who will actually be able to accomplish something for Puna.

Why bother? I have yet to see the elections board and/or ethics committee take any action in response to a complaint.

What someone at the election office said is that Tiffany voted in the last two elections in District 4 using her husband's business as her voting address. Maybe another source can verify?

Why does the matter? Is this being nit-picky? For me, I have not been able to trust the local elected officials and would like to see someone keep their own house in order and be straight up about any discrepancies.
