Anyone using OTA TV having trouble with the 4-* channels? These are usually the most reliable for me (lower HPP) but in the last few days, the signal seems very weak. I'm missing my episodes of Mash and the Twilight Zone!

I live in lower HPP and the 4's are coming in fine....but I've lost the PBS channels 10-1,10-2,and 10-3 after the electrical storm.

I just checked my TV and all the channels are coming in strong except the 45's. The 45's are reporting strong signal strength but the screens are black. Usually this problem resolves itself.
No problems with the 4's or 10's.
If you haven't already, may want to try rescanning on your TV's autotuner. That seems to fix most problems.
Good luck, and please report back if TV returns.

From lower HPP:
(a very quick check without moving the antenna for optimal alignment at each set of channels:
4's - no reception
10's - good
11's - no
13's - no
45's - good

We have all the OTA’s mid HPP Tom. Even the 45’s are coming in tonight.
Mash is on Channel 14 6-7 pm weekdays. Sorry, no Twilight Zone.

Thanks, everyone. That's a rather confusing set of results! The 4s are working for me this evening although the reception was poor at first but within 10 minutes things settled down. Maybe it's just odd atmospheric effects.

Lesson learned! After having the 4* channels again for a few days, they stopped working again last night and today - and was watching a wildlife show on PBS this evening and that then started having reception problems.
I checked the antenna and found that all the re-adjusting of the antenna angle I'd done had created enough torque on the coax cable that it was slowly loosening the connection to the antenna. After untwisting it and re-tightening, everything is back to normal! Another thing to look out for...

Can people report which channels they are getting after Friday's earthquake? I'm getting PBS (10*), 9-1 and 14-1. The 11s are there but the signal is weak and the 4s and 45s seem dead. Thanks.

I'm getting the same results Tom.
BTW, after you mentioned tightening the coax cable to your antenna I checked mine and discovered it also was loose. That explained the odd reception I was getting the last time I posted. When I tightened it up, all the regular channels came in again.

Me too... 45's and 4's are not working in lower HPP. 11's had to re-adjust the antenna but now come in fine.
