Dog Breath Variations by the The Mothers of Invention. Had it the other night by coincidence as we were watching the orange smoke rise and the listening to the rain beating down and trying to wrap our heads around what was happening in Kapoho. It struck me as the perfect soundtrack for such an absurd week.
Certainty will be the death of us.

Arthur Brown, "Fire".
Late 60's if I remember right. 1968 probably. The opening line: "I am the god of hellfire" might not go over well with the Pele devotees though.
