Morgan says,
Nhb is not the former Board President[/b]. I know who Nhb is and it isn't her. It's not even A HER. But I do understand that there are those who will choose to believe whatever keeps them in their comfort zone and any other reasons for doing so will probably remain a mystery. And NO, I will not out Nhb.

Below is quote from Nhb posted on HPP Important Road Announcement Forum.

The dust comity chair did nothing for the dust issue
The road traffic comity people are morons
And people from the board? That funny

Now go to page 1 of this forum HPP Board and compare. Something weird's going on here. Has Nhb been body snatched? Whomever was originally posting as Nhb is gone and someone else is stirring the pot for Nhb?
So Morgan could be correct, Nhb is not a woman but once was and is now a man? Or Nhb has multiple personalities? Where's Waldo? Or should we ask Where's Waldona?

I'm hearing something about them talking to a charter school about taking over the community center?

Not hearsay. My board member told me they are discussing renting the community center to a charter school. While it may sound good on casual examination, having those facilities tied up on an indefinite basis has a downside.

It's definitely not hearsay, I just looked at the agenda for next week's special BOD meeting and there it is, VI. item number 5 "HAAS School".

Hopefully all the folks on here with opinions on what should happen will actually attend these weekly board meetings.
Looks like the new board is getting ready to take care of lots of business.
I hope order will prevail.

Please remember that most people with real jobs cannot participate in meetings during normal business hours, they are at work. I do think this board has enough unfinished business, like approving and posting past minutes, that meeting during these hours is justified, but don't take the absence of members at a meeting on a weekday morning to mean we don't care. I cannot burn a personal day (I get 2 a year) to attend something like this, plus my school would have to pay a substitute, but I do care what happens at these meetings.

Karma96749,
You assume too much too easily. Don't go putting words in people's mouths that they did not say. It is a bad habit.
Assume the best and ask questions.

So only people who work weekdays have "real jobs"?
Pretty small world you live in.
I have a real job and it is not weekdays only.

That's why I said most, not all. If most working people in HPP did not work a schedule sometime between 7AM and 5PM M-F the highway would not be jammed every morning and evening.

I'm glad to see you agree that it takes a board meeting, BUT without disruptions, to get business done. Like approving minutes from the previous board meeting before they can be posted on HPP's website. Agree that there's quite a bit of unfinished business that they'll finally be able to tend to by meeting once a week. What a great idea. As HawaiiDeborah stated, hoping that order will prevail, for once, so they can get their business done. Then you'll be able to read the minutes on line like others will have to who can't attend these meetings.
