I will certainly, however, check to see if things turn green while they cook. Don't want to give asian flu to everyone.
Tom, are you inviting me to dinner or just teasing me?

Wouldn't that contaminate the pool?
Aside from contaminating the turkey...

I'm loving this thread, and am envious of the
Wiener schnitzel (Mr. Tom, welcome home, Sir, and aloha again to Pam).
As we prep for tomorrow with our ohana, this topic brought to mind one of the favorites: (Listening to it as we peel potatoes [xx(]lol.)

Opihikao,
Thanks for that link - the traditional one two three, one two three of a Viennese waltz! I'm sure many won't be, but just in case anyone is curious about the connection to Vienna (Wien), my mother is Austrian and was actually a refugee as a young child during WWII as Austria was annexed by Hitler's Germany and forced many Austrians to fight for the Nazis. Her brother was forced to fight for Germany and was killed doing so. Ironically, my mother moved to the UK in the 50s and married my father who fought the Nazis during the war.
Anyway, the Wiener schnitzel and potato salad is my mother's recipe and since Vienna was my second home while growing up I love those waltzes!
My own particular favourite:

Well, I think the Wiener schnitzel went down very well, the potato salad wasn't quite up to standard (potatoes were cooked a minute or so too long, so it was a little stodgier than I would have liked), but still tasted really nice! Sorry, punafish, for not inviting you but it was at a neighbour's place so wasn't in control of the invites.
Sorry, Pam, no food left to send you, but hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and the same for everyone else!

The unanswered question is - is whalesong also a parody?
