Gypsy - PGV commenced commercial operation in 1993. It was acquired by Ormat in June 2004. This system is considered closed loop as opposed the nearby HGP-A project that ran from 1976 - 1989.

This is a decent history from 2010 including comments by Mayor Kenoi, Mililani Trask and Mike Kaleikini covering many of the issues, (excepting the unabated releases or health studies)

Given that PGV plans to drill a new well in the next couple weeks, what would you like to see done? Ideas from everyone, including Opihikaobob, are welcome of course.
