yeah, no doubt pulling up in style to those more isolated spots can be a blast on occasion. just thinking of the impression some may have of how often it may actually be a necessity here on B.I.

Waipio 4wd required there is some one checking at the gate
Green sands quite a walk not to mention pot holes during the rainy season.... love my old beater 4wd drives Ive used it most dropping off hitch hikers and their groceries in the boonies - grin

Loved three Subarus. Drove two 200+, expect the same from this one, if I live that long! With all the rain-slick roads here, AWD is valuable.

2 WD Toyota Tacoma pickup w/ a water tight camper top on back. Met all my needs for 10 years & I can live in it if I have to.
