Puna people skin fungi

Aloha Chunkster! I saw a podiatrist who told me the salves don't work too good for toenails. They need to be kept dry. Not easy to do around here. He recommended "Blue, Nail Fungus (triple relief. Antifungal, anti bacterial) It's made in Canada. The Active ingredient Chlortimazole 1.0%. It goes on thick white, wet and pasty. Drys hard and stays on til you wash it off. It worked for me. Hard to find here, but good old Amazon had it for under 5$. We keep one around just in case..
Oral fungal treatment IS very hard on the liver. A good Doc. will do liver tests before he/she even prescribes it for you. Topical does the job without all the side effects of oral treatment. Smart people in your family! Good luck to your wife in clearing it up.

Thanks, Kenney! We had done multiple google searches, and Blue didn't come up in the top groups. Went back and put in more detail, and Blue Goo came up with good user reports. We will order shortly. The Frau and little Chunkchen send their gemütliche Grüssung.

That's it. Blue Goo. Sorry I forgot the "goo" part. (It's in tiny little writing on the label...)
It reminds me of liquid white out. Starts out wet, dries fast, and stays.
Aloha to Frau, Chunkchen and you!

Yea mahalo to all, this thread is doing exactly what I had hoped. Many shared ideas. However punamauka2 your stinking issue sounds like a whole different thread best tackled by someone other than myself. Peace, Love & Happiness puna-people

The longer you have these fungal things the tougher they get. First of all is it a fungus? Pour some of that cheap hydrogen peroxide on it. Let it bubble till its done...a light soap film can help keep it from running off. That is hard on the bacteria. The real trial can be a genuine fungal condition from Hell. The kind that there is not a thing over the counter that you have used that works. You have ramped up out of desparation to remedies that people would be concerned about. An oz.of tea tree oil is just warming up. Dumping a quart of apple cider vinegar over your head and letting it dry completely after doing a hand spread all over is too. Straight bleach on your privates ..whoa... as horrible as it sounds can help....if you have hide like an alligator. You have bleached your clothes to pieces and you know way too much about weird herbs. You have turned into a lay expert on gut bacteria and neurotransmitters and Candida is your go to source of serotonin as you feed it store bought sugars in everything from juice to beer. You walk bowlegged and your secret is killing you as in frustration and misery too much.
You have tried the physicians go to pill Diflucan and that helped but they did not offer more. There...right there. I finally told a physician hey give me the max Diflucan perscription and let me take it until this thing is dead dead dead. Two and a half months and it was over at last. Some times you have to push on your doc to do something that is actually effective or they will happily just let you continue on in misery without going for bigger guns. Longwinded here but trying to help.

Even our little nature-loving Chunkchen has chimed in with, "Oh no, Mutti, the medicine will eat your liver." There's probably a plot for a horror movie lurking somewhere in this Teutonic saga, but any advice would be appreciated.

Vick's Vapor rub on the toe nails twice daily until it starts to clear up.
