#21
Incident report today in the Trib.

There's a few real bad apples up there doing some pretty disgusting things.

One Thing I can always be sure of is that things will never go as expected.

Only if the new restrictions are actually enforced.

even i more or less agree, snipping a fragment of my sentence out of context to reiterate your point yet again isn't really necessary.

According to Hawaii News Now, the BLNR have approved emergency restrictions on Mauna Kea. I don't have any more details at this point.

Gypsy69, I apologise in advance for providing such biased, inaccurate and misleading reading material.

From what I understand, the emergency restrictions will last four months. Absolutely no idea what the consequences will be, but don't have a good feeling about this.

The new rules would not be happening if firm, resolute action had been taken under existing laws early on. This has all been just a new layer of unnecessary drama. It might, however, be useful if it results in some real enforcement action. That remains to be seen.

Apparently they need to expand the definition of "camping" because the protestors do not consider their activity to be "camping".

Ironically, the building/planning departments have no problem with ambiguity.
