Surely that's illegal camping? BLNR will have to draft new laws. Along with tents, sleeping bags, propane burners and camping stoves, they are also going to have to ban spacesuits.

I wonder if, in their Mars experiment, they considered the potential for burglary. I hope they don't leave any Mars rovers laying around.
Assume the best and ask questions.

I wonder if they considered the possibility of anti-science protestors on Mars.

Do we even know who is the reigning deity on Mars? With Olympus Mons measuring in at an estimated 25 km in height ...currently the largest volcano discovered in the Solar System... I would imagine Pele would be a mere foot servant to whoever holds title as volcano deity over on Mars.

Although most of us won't get a chance to go to Mars in our lifetime. You can send your name to Mars;
http://mars.nasa.gov/participate/send-yo...e/insight/ I already have almost a billion frequent flyer miles! Hope to see you on board in March 2016!

Private property, the royals sold off large parts of Mauna Loa.
It is a simulation. Don't know why so many people have a problem with simulations. They don't ridicule actors for having rehearsals. They don't ridicule athletes for having practice. They don't ridicule dentists for practicing on tooth dummies. Yet when it comes to scientists in a Mars habitat simulation, it is viewed as ridiculous. What is being studied is the behavior of strangers in close quarters for long periods of time. One of the researchers on one of the earlier simulations said they are trying to find out what they can do with one outcome that keeps happening: Everybody wants to kill each other after a few months. Yeah, they are under surveillance 24 hours a day, with constant testing and reporting. "Aloha also means goodbye. Aloha!"
