Tom the chicken man always brings his silkies to the Puna Sustainability Expo. This year it will be held on Sat., Oct. 10 from 11 to 3 at the Leilani Estates pavilion on Moku St. All his chickens are tame and used to being petted.

They do have some silkies, but say it's difficult to determine sex until they're older.

Pahoa feed can order sexed bantam silky chicks for you and probably the best price in town. I've never ordered a specific COLOR however, its worth the call or stop by to find out.
