No, but would you pls share his contact info? A while back contacted an ad like this, but he had a minimum of very tall trees per property. The guy wanted a dozen or so.

I got him on the phone, paying $200 to $300 a tree, not sure if that is top $$$ as advertised. Doesn't want any spike marks from climbers or mold in fronds.

No spike marks or mold in mine... but plenty of fire ants!
The coconut trees down in Kapoho are usually loaded with these invisible fire ants. Use to climb for coconuts and battle off the rats and centipedes like they were nothing. Now that the trees are loaded with these electric fire ants its just not worth the trouble anymore. Just simply pulling weeds has become problematic around these parts of puna. I just seen a guy at the urgent care who had gotten fire ants in his eyes, did not look like a pleasant experience.
P.S. Check with hotels on the kona side, they buy all sizes sometimes. I use to sell hundreds of the smaller coconut trees to the resorts years ago for a couple bucks a tree. Some years back I took part in the planting of many of those coconut trees lining kapoho road. Sure is pretty to look at, although the fire ants have seriously taken them over now.

that is not top dollar for a tree.
Too bad coconut trees are worth money. We try again and again to plant them on our private road here in Puna and foragers simply come and steal them. Had a friend in Ocean View who planted over twenty coconut trees on the beach down the hill for shade. A month later they were all dug up and gone.
People.
