ROB PLEASE CLOSE THIS THREAD, I HAVE ASKED YOU MOR

Shoresresident is also the person who started and perpetuated a whole 4 page thread complaining about other people using public bathrooms for their biological needs. The names people were called by this tool for just using a public bathroom were over the top, so maybe the combination of often coming to Punaweb to beg, mixed with a complete lack of empathy for other people's needs, is why the reactions have been what they are. If a person keeps asking for freebies from the same sources, with sob story after sob story, it makes you wonder if this is an emergency or a matter of lifestyle choices.

I do remember all of shoresresident posts and comments she has written and I take them with a grain of salt. If her brother has a legitimate need, she should not be involved and post on Punaweb as this ends up hurting him.

Tell you what, dakine, why don't you donate to the OP's gofundme link? Let us know the "Aloha - love, affection, compassion, mercy, sympathy, pity, kindness, grace, charity..." you get in return.

I'm with AK on this one, but not only sloths, scam artists as well. People like this make it much harder for people who really need help receive it. They deserve being called out.

It's still on $0. Come on dakine, give the good example.

Just so dakine can't whine again, the page is here:

The number of times dakine has defended shoresresident can wait 'til later, but it certainly raises a flag.

PS. From that site:

"All donations will go towards getting my vehicle fixed or buying one that is dependable. Any amount will help even if it's a dollar. "

Not a word about using the money to help his kids. Dakine, what say you? In the meantime, let us know how your donation works out.

Shoresresident (Mary Keller) posted the GoFumdMe request on Punaweb, not her brother Elmer Keller Jr. They are not the same person, unfortunately because of this post on Punaweb he is now tarred with the same brush.
Single father, 5 children living in Glenwood without a reliable car has to be the pits, there is nothing wrong with asking for help!
Sloth-lazy, with 5 children you have to be joking, right!

Most of us were read the bedtime story of the boy who cried wolf when we were children. Later, we were warned about how we'd be perceived if we cried "Fire!" in a crowed theater, and there was no fire.

I believe Bay Clinic provides free or low cost dental, Hawaii Dept of Human Services pays up to $800 for funeral and burial expenses, and most people made a low cost move from lower Puna to Hilo when they thought the lava was headed in their direction. They didn't ask for $10,000 to move to Maui. Is this new request another shout of "Fire!" in the theater?

Hard to know, but here's another saying, "if it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck..."
