Fresh Fish in Kapoho area?

Hi everyone
Does anyone know if someone in the Hawaiian Beaches/Shores/Wa'a Wa'a/Kapoho area goes fishing on a regular basis? I would love to be able to purchase fresh fish regularly and not have to drive all the way to Pahoa or Hilo.

Problem is, most fishing boats come in to Hilo and then the fish is tucked out here to Pahoa.

Best to just hit up Suisan...

I used to buy from someone on Kahakai, but it's a hit and miss... Buying whole fish isn't for everyone.

When we lived in Seaview there was a fisherman who put his boat in at Pohoiki and sold his catch in the neighborhood. He had a list of customers he called when he he had fish to sell. I've been very happy with the fish I buy from the guy who sells in "downtown" Pahoa.
