Dakine, If I recall correctly mentioning this study was in response to a poster who rebuked another link I posted from a Physician in India, claiming the article was a hoax. Let's not get things out of context since a common reaction to herbal medicine from those who pledge allegiance to the pharmaceutical companies is to slam herbal remedies.
Punaweb has simply turned into my daily crossword puzzle replacement, I am no health authority nor practitioner but given what I have read about the papaya leaf juice, I think it's worth a try.
If you are interested, google it and decide for yourself and let us know what you think. Good luck.

New map with locations of individual cases identified. Best to put off the that trip to anywhere but Waimea or Hawi. Perhaps it's time to seek terms for a deal with the mosquitoes.

"It's all about the citizens themselves taking responsibility to do what it takes to curb the outbreak," Logan said.
"Is there a threshold, say 150 cases, when efforts will be stepped up?" asked Hilo Sen. Gil Kahele.
Gov. David Ige backed the DOH and said there does not appear to be a resource shortage in addressing the outbreak.

Kohala Councilwoman Margaret Wille had objected to an emergency meeting next week ... "I don't think we should hold meetings without adequate public notice," she said.[/i]
Yes, that medical marijuana tax is clearly far more important.

The Department of Health said it still hasn't notified all clinicians on the Big Island about the outbreak.
Nor are they notifying the tourists.
I considered passing out fliers at the airport and/or the cruise ship dock as an experiment, to see how long I could do it before getting arrested, and what the charges would be, maybe get some media attention to highlight the issue...

Interesting read....
I think with the big island's low population and most of us poor... Only the rich will get the help. I have said from the beginning (whenever that was) to get the national guard out here.
My question is... What happens when a household member get's it... who wants to be in the room with a sick person and a mosquito?

I guess Kona didn't make the cut either.
