How's it looking over there Tom? Not so good here. There is a large cloud band around Haleakala, out west there is some clear sky but very limited (30% visible). Not looking so good for me tonight thus far.

Light rain here, not good. Still 9-hours of the night to go, but am working tomorrow, so not sure I'll see it through. I might set my alarm for 3am and check then.

Stars are starting to shine thru over HPP, but I might not make it tonight. If nothing by 10 pm, it's off to bed. Buggers!

Pleebs like us only receive what comes above. We never get to experience Tom's level of sky discovery.

Nice clear patch of sky ove HPP at 10 PM.
Already saw one slow burner. Fairly bright too.
