Long term airport parking has gone up

The consensus is.. Don't give your money to the airport.

Excellent info Susan. Is that covered parking for your car there at Shipman?

Edited spelling.

Not covered. Price started at 28 and some change per month a few years ago. Easy access from airport to get the truck on the way to Puna. It was just taken over by a new company. They could make some extra cash with low daily rates to park and shuttle. Their space is limited though.

I offer, less than 5 minutes from the airport, covered, off street, space for 4-6 Vehicles + plenty of outdoor parking as well.

Safe and secure, private yard.

10.00 fee ( each way ) for coordinated and flexibly patient, on time drop off and pick up using your vehicle. Free with 1 month or 30 day accumulated stay.

10% of proceeds will be honorably donated to Punaweb.

Won't be any monetary savings but Tesla Model X will have auto-summon in less than 2 years. Call the car parked at home for airport pickup, and let the car go home and park after being dropped off at the airport. This also depends on the state allowing completely driver less cars on the road, but there doesn't seem to be much opposition. There have been a few accidents but they have been due to human drivers crashing into self driving cars. The self driving cars will gradually get some collision avoidance routines to reduce human caused accidents. All the other auto manufacturers are competing so auto summon/drop off will become more common place in a few years.

Modern systems like Uber and Lyft change the rules. Current taxi systems are antiquated and expensive.
