I don't know if it was only for me but after loking at the first two pictures I was not able to look at the others even after I signed in again.

Hey Wyatt - are you staying with John & Harlan? Those guys are great. I will be your neighbor soon enough. I am on Mapuana down towards the front. I am one lot behind the ugly brown ranch style house. I have a big pink bouginvilla by the street. Ask John and he will point out my lot. And I planted some coconut palms in Dec. They were about 3 ft tall so I have this fantasy that they are 6 ft tall now SmileRobguz that post on here will also be your neighbor. He is the lot behind the green cottage being built on Mapuana, about 11 or 12 lots behind mine. So even though I am not there yet, welcome to the neighborhood. Keep posting the pictures as I will be interested in your progress.

Aloha Wyatt, just a note to sat thanks for sharing with the forum. I was really pleased to see that the excavator appeared to be able to handle your site prep. It appears to have done a very efficient job with minimal mess to the surrounding area. Was it able to break up the lava or was that rubble hauled in and spread by the machine. Pictures speak a thousand words and bring so much, I find it so interesting how each person gets their job done. Hats off to yah and here's to your continued success!

Hi Punagirl, yes we are staying with John & Harland. We just had dinner with them last night and they asked me if I knew you. I told we've been on the same site here. They told me where your lot was. We walk by you every day.I'll check your palms tomorrow.I understand you stay in Kapoho when here, just as we had the past few years. I had emaild robguz a couple of weeks ago as John amd Harland had spoke of him also. So far this community seems to be just what we had hoped.See you in Seaview. Oh when will you be here next.

Thanks Hadave, and it was nice meeting you and your wife at Pam's. After you showing us pics of your place I saw the value in posting pics. So here we are. The lot was much as you see it. Very litte to move. The rubble was from the cesspool and it was spread on the lot to the left of us, which we own. We will build the main house there. This house is for guests and to give us quick housing.

Hi Wyatt,
Those pictures are pretty nice! I always wondered how the top of the cesspool was put together. The pictures made it perfectly clear! Keep on Posting!!!

Good Luck!

P.S.: I think the David you met at Pam’s posts as “David M” here.

hi, just a question on your cesspool. i've never seen one where cinderbolcks had to be used, was this because the sides were crumbling in? all the ones i've seen are big holes with a ledge a foot or so down from the top where you lay 4x4's or logs(in my case)and then metal roofing on top then just pour concrete on top of that> it's always fun to look back years later and see how it all started. good luck.
