Anyone have any webcam links for the island, other than these?
These might come in handy during the storm, or not if too many trees fall like the last time.

Would be nice if they mounted them on the siren posts at the high points of a subdivision and along the coast overlooking all in general, but invasion of privacy would be the norm.

Hilo Hawaiin used to have one looking toward Coconut island but its not made public unless something happens.

Probably going to happen, but control of the all that information could lead to some Orwellian scenarios. Hollywood movies are full of examples.

Some states are using RWIS ( road weather information service) along the major roads...
It would be nice if they did that here.. expecially out towards Honokaha.

If it's operating tonight, CFHT's Cloudcam may produce some interesting shots and time-lapses. It points to the ESE, so should pick up clouds and lightning as the storm approaches.

Guy Hagi has nothing on you folks (re: approaching storm, and everything else going on...), nor does Mileka Lincoln, Hawaii News Now, or whoever is covering the lava flow; of which a tube collapsed with fantastic footage, FYI.
