I'm not "surprised" anymore.
All I ask is to be judged by the same criteria.
"I guess I forgot to pay the taxes. Oopsies!"
"I didn't know about the vehicle registration."
"Safety stickers have to be renewed? Really?"
etc, etc.

Maybe they didn't want that parks and rec money going towards unused streetlights and pcards, so they put it to a better use? Every big business exec and government representative takes a cut, why shouldn't they? That's the self serving sociopathic slippery slope our society is sliding down...

Thankfully I'm old enough.. it's hard to care anymore. People younger than me die of natural causes. But I do feel bad for the idiocracy that this country has turned into... and what my kids have to live through.
